Description

Fudgy brownies topped with edible cookie dough–what could be better? Cookie Dough Brownies are delicious and gooey and easy to make!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 8×8 or 9x9 pan of brownies, already baked
    {you can use a box or this recipe}
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) of salted butter
  • 6 Tbsp. white sugar
  • 6 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 3 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

Start by making your brownies. You can use a recipe from scratch, but a box mix will make your life even easier! Make sure your brownies are cool before putting the cookie dough on top.

Preheat the oven to 350°F and spread a cup of all-purpose flour on a baking sheet. While the oven is preheating, mix together a stick of soft butter and the sugars until they’re well combined and creamy. Put the flour in the oven and let it cook for about 5 minutes. Make sure to watch it so it doesn’t burn!

Stir the flour into the butter and sugar –it will be a crumbly mixture. Add the milk and vanilla extract and stir until you have a smooth cookie dough. Stir in 3/4 of the chocolate chips.

Place small scoops of cookie dough all over the top of the brownies, then use a rubber spatula or the back of a spoon to spread it around. Sprinkle the top with the rest of the chocolate chips.

Chill until the cookie dough is cool enough to cut (about an hour) then serve!
