Description

Cookies and Milk Milkshakes are a perfect combination of two beloved desserts–cookies and milk and a vanilla milkshake. It doesn’t get more classic!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 1/2 cups cookie dough
  • 24 Tbsp. chocolate sauce
  •
  •

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Crumble the cookie dough into small pieces over the parchment and bake for 5-8 minutes, or until the crumbs are a light golden brown. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool.

Pour 1 cup of milk into the jar of a blender, then scoop in four cups of ice cream. Add about half of the cookie crumbles, then place the lid on and blend on high until the mixture is smooth. Depending on the strength of your blender, you may need to add a bit more milk.

Drizzle the chocolate sauce on the inside of your serving cups, then pour the milkshake mixture over it. Top with the remaining cookie crumbs and serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can add the chocolate sauce to the blender  if you aren’t serving it in a clear glass.
  • The easiest way to make milkshakes is using a blender. I have a Vitamix and really like it, but you don’t need something with a high powered engine. You can also use an immersion, or stick blender, in most cases. I would recommend not using it for this recipe, because it won’t break up the cookies as effectively.
